New Delhi, 16 th January 2018 : With the aim to provide skill and employment to the rural youth, Delhi-based Marg ERP Ltd signed up the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar Government to open a chain of centers in the state to provide training in Retail, Accounting and IT-ITES sector.
The company had earlier joined hands with the Union Ministry of Rural Development for its National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) for the purpose. The inventory software major Marg ERP Ltd will set up state-of- the-art residential centres in the state which will have a capacity to train hundreds of students.
The NRLM had rolled out Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in 2014 and Roshni Project (a special scheme by NRLM for tribal areas) in 2015 with a vision to ‘Transform Rural Poor Youth into Economically Independent And Globally Relevant Workforce’.
“We share the government vision of providing training to the youth in the rural area and hinterland. These youngsters have immense potential to learn and do something different and establish themselves in the professional world. Since we shared that vision with government, we have joined hands with the government to have a number of centers where these youth will be given training and then provided placement assistance after that,” said Mr. Sudhir Singh, Managing Director (Sales & Marketing) Marg ERP Ltd.
Placement assistance will be provided to the students once they complete their course. The center will deploy well qualified trainers and staff in order to provide best training to the students. They will also have separate boarding and lodging facilities for boys and girls.
Marg ERP has launched its first DDU-GKY owned residential center on 26 th December, 2017 in Gujarat.
