There is another way to verify Aadhaar card by verifying your email address and mobile phone number through the UIDAI website. You can follow the steps mentioned below to verify your Aadhaar card number through this procedure:

Step 1- Go to the official UIDAI website at https://uidai.gov.in/ and under ‘My Aadhaar’ go-to ‘Aadhaar Services’ and pick ‘Check Email/Mobile Number’

Step 2- On the next page, you need to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. Under contact details, you would need to enter either the mobile number or the email ID which you need to check.

Step 3- Enter the security code or captcha and then click on ‘Send OTP’.

Step 4- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify your email address.

Step 5- The time when your email ID or mobile number is checked in Aadhaar information base, you would get a message which will contain the email/mobile number you have entered effectively confirmed with our records’. This shows that the email ID or the portable number is enrolled in Aadhaar information base.
