Marg SBI Bank Integration Guide

Requirements:

  1. You need to have an SBI Bank account with fund transfer facility enabled. In case you do not have it, you can get it enabled through your SBI Bank Branch.
  2. You need to have the updated Marg Product (counter/Silver/Gold/ERP) which can be downloaded from www.margcompusoft.com or by visiting this link. You can also use free Marg trail period to have an experience of connected banking. We recommend you to take backup of your data before proceeding. Your data will stay intact after the installation finishes.
  3. If you don't have an existing SBI Bank account you can request for new lifetime ZERO balance Current Account* through SBI Official website. (*T&C apply)
  4. Only Marg supervisors are authorized to perform registration through Marg platform.

Registration process

All values will be masked with*. You can check show values to see the actual field values. It is implemented as a security measure.

Step 1: Navigate to 'Online Banking' tab and select 'SBI Bank Registration'.


Step 2: Enter the admin details in the window appeared. The Mobile number and E-mail would be verified with OTP. This will be used later to send an OTP in case of any system change or security related transactions. This may or may not be the same email id and mobile number which you have used while registering with the bank.


Click on 'Add' button to register a new bank account. Select the SBI Bank account number you want to register from the given drop down. Account number will get automatically updated from the Bank account ledger. Only SBI Bank accounts configured in Bank ledger will appear in the registration list.

Step 3: Please enter the mobile number registered with SBI Bank.

Step 4: Copy the Marg unique ID and navigate to the SBI Portal.

Step 5: Just click on the SBI Portal button and login with your sbi net-banking credentials.

Step 6: Now select the API Banking menu and follow the steps to register with Marg ERP.

After completing all the steps, this window will confirm that your data is sync with SBI Bank.

Step 9:

Now the user will go back to the Marg ERP SBI registration page and click on the save button. A message will appear indicating data sync. Then simply click on sync & register and a message will appear confirming that you are registered successfully.
