Step 1- Go to UIDAI or Aadhar official Website https://uidai.gov.in/

Step 3- Then click on the “Aadhar” option form the “I Have” section

How To Download E-Aadhar By Name and DOB?
If you have forgotten or lost your enrollment number or Aadhar number, you can then download Aadhar online through your Name and Date of Birth.
Follow these steps as mentioned below:
Step 1- Type this URL on Google https://resident.uidai.gov.in/lost-uideid
Step 2- Write your full name, registered email address, or mobile number and the security code
Step 3- Click the “Send OTP” button
Step 4- Submit the valid OTP you received on your registered mobile number and click on “verify”
Step 5- Once the verification process is complete you will receive your Aadhar number on your registered mobile number
Step 6- After receiving the Aadhar number you can log in to the official UIDAI website and complete the process like before.
Step 7- Go to the “I Have” option under the Aadhar segment
Step 8- Click on the OTP option

Earlier, you can only download an E-Aadhar card with an Aadhar number and enrolment ID but now the government has put the whole process online. You can even apply for an Aadhaar card digitally and instead of getting an enrolment ID, now you will receive a 16 digit virtual ID. You can download Aadhar online through VID. Step 1- Visit your nearest Aadhar center/bank/post office
Step 2- Complete the verification process by providing biometric details such as thumb and fingerprints, retina scan
Step 3- Show any other identity card such as Voter ID or PAN card
Step 4- Then the assessing officer will download the E-Aadhar card from the website and complete the verification and correction process.
